With suppliers from Canada, France, Switzerland, Germany, India, Mexico, the United Kingdom, the United States and Italy, we have brought together companies from around the globe to build the Learjet 85 aircraft. The first clean sheet Learjet design in more than a decade, this all-composite aircraft leverages expertise from throughout the world to redefine the midsize business jet category.

Pratt & Whitney Canada PW307B engines have been chosen to power this extraordinary new aircraft. The PW307B engine features a full complement of advancements that contribute to lower fuel consumption, greatly reduced emission levels and low noise. These engines will enable the Learjet 85 to reach a high-speed cruise of Mach 0.82 and a transcontinental range of up to 3,000 nautical miles (5,556 km)**.
In the critical area of braking, Bombardier Learjet has selected Messier-Bugatti, the industry leader in aircraft braking systems. Capable of providing a comprehensive range of solutions covering all braking and landing functions, Messier-Bugatti will supply the wheels and carbon brakes, braking system, landing gear extension and retraction system as well as the ground steering system for the Learjet 85.
Together, these suppliers and a host of other notable collaborators are helping us change the course of aviation with the Learjet 85.
** Range with 2 crew, 4 passengers (200 lb each) and 100 NM NBAA IFR reserves. Assumes standard BOW, sea level departure and landing, unrestricted climb, cruise and descent with zero wind and standard (ISA) conditions en route.
