Customers and special guests of Bombardier saw, touched and felt the future as the all-composite Learjet 85 aircraft interior was unveiled at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) annual meeting and convention in October, 2008. Now you can experience first-hand the largest Learjet aircraft cabin ever designed as the Learjet 85 mock-up goes on tour around the world.
The luxurious Learjet 85 interior is designed to elevate comfort and convenience on every flight. Experience its bold interior with splashes of aluminized surfaces, glossy black piano finished hardwood veneer accents and cabinets, flowing oval and curved shapes, and hand-stitched vanilla leather seats for the ultimate in luxury.
As a passenger, you will benefit from a stand-up cabin that maximizes usable volume, storage and ergonomic comfort and offers superior productivity for eight. The cabin features large open spaces between seats to allow for more mobility and legroom. Inside this exquisite environment, the highly contoured seats feature armrests that can retract into the seat backs for extra spaciousness. In addition, all seats fully recline to a horizontally flat position, allowing up to four single berths in the eight-seat cabin configuration.
A key element of the aircraft’s cabin is its large windows, measuring approximately 12 x 16 inches (30.5 X 40.6 cm), maximizing the amount of natural light in the aircraft as well as passenger viewing capability. LED cabin lighting complements the shapes of the sidewalls and overhead units. The aircraft also features a full-service galley, spacious lavatory, and three storage compartments.
We invite you to experience its spacious and sophisticated interior during the Learjet 85 2009 mock-up tour. In April, the mock-up will take center stage in London at Farnborough Airport, in May at EBACE in Geneva and in June in Paris at Le Bourget Air Show.
