The Learjet 85 is the first all‐composite business jet ever designed for type certification under Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 25. Set to revolutionize the industry, the all-composite structure will increase passenger comfort by allowing for the use of complex curves in the aircraft cross-section, thinner wall thickness to maximize cabin volume and optimized placement of windows and other cut-outs.
